September 2, Fineko/abc.az. In recent days, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) has received complaints from citizens regarding the sale of fake tickets for travel on the Baku–Tbilisi–Baku route.

The company reported this.

It noted that some travel companies and social media accounts are offering passengers fake tickets for non-existent seats.

“In this regard, we have contacted law enforcement agencies. Investigations are underway, cases of abuse are regularly prevented, and individuals and pages involved in fraud are identified and held accountable in accordance with the law.

We once again emphasize that ADY does not cooperate with any travel companies or intermediaries on this route and does not allocate ticket quotas. Passengers are advised to purchase tickets only through ADY's official website, the ADY Mobile app, and railway ticket offices,” the statement said.
