September 4, Fineko/abc.az. Traffic will be temporarily restricted on some streets and avenues in Baku on September 4 and 5 to ensure the safe and organized staging of the international Alufar IRONMAN 70.3 Baku triathlon.

The restrictions will be introduced in stages from 21:00 on September 4 until 16:00 on September 5.

On the Baku-Alat (M3) highway, traffic will be restricted from the 14th kilometer toward the Lokbatan roundabout and the city center, up to the roundabout in front of the Sheraton Baku Intourist hotel.

As an alternative, drivers can use the Lokbatan-Bail route of the Baku-Alat (M3) highway.

On the Baku-Alat-Gazakh-Georgia state border (M2) highway, starting from the 25th kilometer near the interchange in front of the Heydar Aliyev Deepwater Jacket Plant, one lane will be designated for vehicles traveling in the opposite direction to ensure traffic flow.

More than 1,500 participants from 62 countries will take part in the Alufar IRONMAN 70.3 Baku triathlon, which will be held in Baku on September 5.
