July 18, Fineko/abc.az. Apple has overtaken Nvidia to become the world's most valuable company once again, a title Nvidia had held since May 2025. Following a 0.4% rise in Apple's stock, its market capitalization climbed to $4.9 trillion, while Nvidia’s valuation slipped to $4.8 trillion after its shares tumbled 3.7%.
The shift reflects a broader market rotation, as investors pull back from chipmakers and companies aggressively spending on AI infrastructure amid concerns that the tech boom may have peaked. Apple has capitalized on this trend, buoyed by securing long-awaited Chinese government approval to launch its "Apple Intelligence" platform in the country, alongside a timely stock upgrade by HSBC from "hold" to "buy."
