July 16, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Statistics Committee, in the 1st half of 2026, the average monthly spending of one person in retail trade was 525.7 manats.

Of them, 285.7 manats were spent on foods, beverages, and tobacco products and 240 manats on non-food products.

In the structure of expenditures, foodstuffs occupy the largest share - 49.9%.

Among other expenditure categories: other non-food products (17.9%), textiles, clothing and footwear (12.6%), motor fuel (6.3%), electrical goods and furniture (4.7%), beverages and tobacco (4.4%), pharmaceutical products (2.8%), and computers and telecommunications equipment (1.4%).
