September 5, Fineko/abc.az. In January–August 2026, tax revenues to the state budget collected via the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy reached AZN 12,619.1 million. This marks a 9.2% increase compared to the same period last year and exceeds the target projection by 7.7%.

The non-oil and gas sector accounted for the lion's share of 8-month tax revenues, generating AZN 9,468.7 million. This figure represents a 12.3% year-on-year increase and stands 3.1% above the official forecast. Double-digit growth in non-oil tax collections highlights ongoing economic diversification and enhanced tax compliance measures in Azerbaijan.
