Russia Extends Ban on Diesel Exports Until September 30

12:00 - 30.08.2026

August 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Russian government has extended its export ban on diesel, marine fuel, and gas oil until September 30 in an effort to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market.

According to an official statement, restrictions on other fuel categories remain in place with different deadlines: the ban on gasoline exports will continue until January 31, 2027, while restrictions on jet fuel exports are extended through November 30.

The decision comes as Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries have forced multiple facilities offline for maintenance, leading to localized fuel supply restrictions across several regions.
