July 17, Fineko/abc.az. Direct flights on several routes between Azerbaijan and Russia are expected to resume in the near future.

FM Jeyhun Bayramov made the remarks at a joint press conference with Russian FM Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.

“Direct flights on several routes between the two countries are expected to resume in the near future. This will apply to the routes that were suspended following the tragic incident involving an Azerbaijani civilian aircraft in December 2024,” the minister noted.
