July 15, Fineko/abc.az. The Ukrainian parliament has ratified the Free Trade Agreement with Turkey, making a historic step for the document to enter into force.
According to Turkish Minister of Trade Omer Bolat, the agreement will liberalize roughly 90% of mutual trade and bring the countries closer to achieving their joint goal of increasing trade turnover up to $10 billion.
Trade turnover between Turkey and Ukraine amounted to $6.2 billion in 2024 and $6.6 billion in 2025, and increased by 10% in the first 6 months of this year, reaching approx. $3.2 billion.
The document will also create a transparent legal framework for cooperation in the fields of services, logistics, investments, and contracting.
