July 17, Fineko/abc.az. According to CBA’s statistical bulletin, as of June 1, 2026, overall credit investments in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions increased by 16.3% (or 82.6 million manats) in year-on-year comparison, reaching 589.620 million manats (approx. $346.8 million)

The volume of loans to the Karabakh Economic Region increased by 12.3% up to 556.865 million manats (with average rate of 19.92%), while the Eastern Zangezur Economic Region recorded a sharp increase of 2.9-fold up to 32.755 million manats (average rate of 13.52%).

Over the reported term, out of loans given to Karabakh, loans for 556.547 million manats were given in the national currency, and for 318,000 manats in freely convertible currency. In Eastern Zangezur, these figures amounted to 24.383 million manats in national currency and 8.373 million manats in foreign currency.
