July 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2026, our country produced 25.4 bcm of natural gas.

More than half of overall production, 13.7 bcm of extraction accounted for Shah Deniz field, 7.3 bcm for ACG, 3.6 bcm by SOCAR, and 800 million cu m for Absheron field.

Gas exports totaled 12.7 bcm.

As for geography of exports, Europe remains the leading destination (5.9 bcm). A total of 4.9 bcm of Azerbaijani gas was exported to Turkey (including 3 bcm via TANAP pipeline), 1.2 bcm to Georgia, and 700 million cu m to Syria.
