January 12, Fineko/abc.az. The new rector of the National Defense University has been appointed.

ABC.AZ reports that a relevant order has been signed.

Under the order, Colonel Gunduz Abdulov was appointed to this position.

The head of the National Defense University, Heydar Piriyev, has been relieved of his post.

Prior to this appointment, Gunduz Abdulov was the head of the Internal Control Department of the Ministry of Science and Education.
